Project Description
To begin this project we were assigned to pick a topic that really struck us. We then did research about our topic and figured our some solid and shocking facts. Throughout this process we found out how to find solid evidence. After doif=gn some research we discovered the process of creating a political cartoon and found the messages they send the readers. After seeing many examples and techniques of political cartoons we were assigned to create our own! I overall went through 3-4 drafts before finishing my final which took me overall 3 weeks.
Final Political Cartoon!
A habit of heart and mind that struggled with would be perseverance because in the first couple drafts of my political cartoon I didn't really feel like work was really giving the message wanted it to so I didn't really have any motivation to work on it in class or out of class. I then decided to ask for help so i could create a new cartoon. Once I was happy with a rough draft Mr. Phil and I created I began to make several drafts of the new idea. With all of the skills we learned, I created my final draft.

My Process
To create our political cartoons we were first taught some basic techniques that would meek our political cartoon look its best. We then studied some basic political cartoons and how they deliver their messages. After viewing many examples we started our drafts and went through many different ideas and critique sessions to finally finish with a final product that we were proud of.
My biggest takeaway from this project was learning who to make my topic become an art piece with a strong message.
